• Candidate will be responsible for providing daily inspection of construction work within a given discipline to ensure the project is in compliance with plans and specifications
• Be proactive and alert project management professionals to issues that may come up in the field
• Provide solutions to mitigate those problems
• Observe field work to ensure workmanship and materials meet standards
• Must be able to document the work via ODOT or the Ohio Turnpike's daily inspection report and various other reports.

• Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience working on highway/roadway construction projects
• Experience working on ODOT and/or Ohio Turnpike projects is considered a plus
• Associate degree or greater in Civil or Construction Engineering Technology; OR NICET Highway Construction Level II Certification are a plus
• Preferred to have passed the ODOT Flexible Pavement Test, ODOT Traffic Work Zone Test, ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Level 1 and the Ohio Level I Aggregate Technician Training (OAIMA)
• Ideal candidates are prequalified as an ODOT Project Inspector, Structures Inspector or Traffic Inspector or have the ability to be within 90 days.
