Job Description

Post Doctoral Scholar to pursue specialized research training and experience under the guidance of a scientific mentor; optimize the chemoradiation regimens for treating lung cancer in pre-clinical models; develop innovative approaches combining radiation, chemotherapeutic agents, and dietary supplements for achieving therapeutic gain, examines the role of senolytic agents and microbiome in modulating immune response; tests novel mitigators of late occurring pulmonary toxicity in mouse model; participates in analyzing data for reports for the purpose of grants submissions; trains staff in molecular biology techniques.

Education/Experience:

A Doctoral degree in an appropriate discipline is required. Requires successful completion of a background check; qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.

Target hiring range for this position: $56,484-$68,604 annually (NIH scale)
