About this Position:

Support plant-wide problem analysis and prevention activities for mass production by analyzing and interpreting data and/or specifications to determine problem severity. Effectively interact with Manufacturing, Support and R&D to obtain consensus when determining root cause and suggesting countermeasures to gain a clear resolution to problems. Oversee and manage mass production design related items (CRF and JRS processing along with MI issuance as needed).

Responsibilities include:

* Support Plant-wide problem analysis and prevention activities.

* Support root cause investigation and prevention.

* Determine most effective temporary/permanent countermeasure.

* Perform data analysis related to problem items. Complete Problem Summaries.

* Support NM AQC builds for responsible systems.

* Manage assigned CRF's, JRS's and MI's.

* Support MED related projects

Who we are seeking:

Required Work Experience:

* One term as a co-op at Honda or in a similar manufacturing environment preferred

Required Education:

* Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, industrial) or 6 years equivalent experience

Desired skills:

* Ability to summarize complex analysis results and C/M activity

* People/problem management skills

* Results Oriented

* Self-starter characteristics and aggressive attitude for improving quality

* Group speaking/presenting

* Flexibility in work hours and daily job content

* Ability to read drawings

* Proficient in Microsoft software (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook)

Additional Position Factors:

* Approximately 1 Hr. OT per day.

* Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

* Varied work environment (office and workshop)
