Location: Optum Primary Care: 680 Buckles Court North, Suite 100, Gahanna, OH 43230

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm / No evenings, weekends, or holidays!

Specialty: Primary Care

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collects specimens according to established procedures
  • Completing requisitions accurately
  • Research test / client information utilizing lab computer system or NextGen EMR
  • Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test order
  • Help with inventories and other tasks as assigned
  • Stock supplies as needed
  • Performs other department - related clerical duties when assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • 6-12 months experience performing phlebotomy procedures
  • Experience processing patient specimens for testing in the lab

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy certification
