Position Highlights:

  • Physician-led, patient centered team-based environment.
  • Providing full spectrum Family/Internal Medicine & Adult Primary Care, focusing on value-based care, and supported by a robust team of specialists.
  • Full-time; Work-Life Balance; Flexible Scheduling (potential for 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts)!
    • Local office hours are:
      • Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 8:00pm;
      • Friday: 8:00am - 4:00pm; and
      • Saturday: 8:00am - 12:00pm.
    • Full-Time schedules can be flexible, but generally require an equal combination of day & evening shift hour coverage (i.e., at least 2 shifts per week working until 8:00pm, Monday - Thursday) - as well as day shift at least every other Friday.
    • Saturday shifts are shared/rotated equally by the providers at the office, thus you would be required to work 1 four-hour Saturday shift every 7-8 weeks.

[Note: Schedules are confirmed at least 1 month in advance, an ideal candidate would be someone with scheduling flexibility & ability to work combination of day and evening shift hours weekly.]

  • On call requirements: Phone only, nights & weekends only, managed on equally shared/rotating basis, usually alternated on a weekly basis (i.e., on-call every 7th or 8th week).
  • Average patient load: Goal/Target is 3-4 patients per hour.
  • Teamwork; Evidence-based Medicine.
  • Autonomy to practice at the peak of your license.
  • Supported to grow your practice and patient panel.
  • Must be comfortable working with advanced providers.
  • No inpatient/hospital rounding.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage a complete continuum of high-quality care within the care team.
  • Treat chronic diseases and disorders.
  • Reviews patient file/record, including allergies, problems, medications, and immunization status.
  • Elicits and records information about patient's medical history.
  • Orders or executes various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on patient's condition.
  • Analyzes reports and findings of tests and examination and diagnoses condition of patient.
  • Oversees and provides collaborative support to Advanced Practice Clinicians.

Required Qualifications:

  • Unrestricted medical license in the State of New Jersey or has New Jersey medical license application in process
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Family Medicine and/or Internal Medicine
  • Active and unrestricted DEA License (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • Active New Jersey CDS license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • Bilingual Spanish language skills highly preferred (but not required)

New Jersey Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $237,360 to $331,700 per year. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement.
