The role at a glance:
NBBJ Columbus is seeking a talented Procurement Specialist with proven experience in technology related administration. As technology continues to play an increasingly critical role in both our private and business lives' we need to ensure our teams have the very latest technologies to both create and deliver the work. This role is critical to ensuring the seamless integration of technology into our processes for both our teams and clients. We are looking for a motivated detail-oriented team member to manage the procurement and budget processes for our globally distributed technology team and provide administrative support to senior leadership.

In your new role, you will:
  • Manage the Digital (IT) budgets
  • Manage purchasing of all Digital consulting services, software and equipment firmwide, including project related purchases
    • Negotiate prices
    • Create and submit purchase orders
    • Confirm equipment has been received
    • Process invoices
  • Approve all invoices and assign codes for monthly Digital subscriptions/services firmwide
  • Manage all software contracts, from contract initiation to renewal plan
  • Manage all accounts on the corporate cell phone plan
  • Manage the administration of the company credit card

What you will need to succeed:

  • Detail orientation and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Expert in planning
  • Strong computer skills including mastery of Microsoft's Excel
  • Minimum five years in a procurement or administrative support capacity, ideally within a technology related company.
  • BA or BS degree or higher preferred
