Provides services for patients including counseling, crisis intervention, discharge planning, utilization review, case management, the provision of material resources and linkage with community services. Responds to patient, family and visitor concerns and grievances. Monitors and enhances the patient experience and patient advocacy as required by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (ODMAS) within the Department OSU Harding Hospital and Behavioral Health Services. Services are provided to patients and families to meet their medically related social and emotional needs as they impact on their medical condition, treatment, recovery, and safe transition from one care environment to another. Minimum Education Required: Master's Level Degree. Required Qualifications: Masters of Social Work from an accredited Graduate School of Social Work; State of Ohio licensure (LSW or LISW). Experience in a healthcare or medically related setting.
