Job Description
The Associate Field System Administrator at Behr will monitor and maintain the local IT resources such as server, personal computing hardware, operating system, application software, and all specialized hardware for use in the Manufacturing and Distribution shop floor environments. The Associate will interact and solve general computing IT problems for each designated location. The Associate will also provide first level IT customer service for all business partners at the designated facility.This role will be responsible for escalating to appropriate senior IT staff business concerns.Working safely is part of our culture and is a condition of employment.

Essential Functions:

  • Hardware and Software Monitoring
  • Inventory Management
  • First Level IT Support

Job Qualifications:

  • Strong Communication skills
  • Computer Installation
  • 3-5 years' experience in IT Support Role
  • Track record of success in a highly self- directed environment
  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Fluent in English, additional language skill a plus

Special Requirements:

  • Ability to work a flexible workweek, including nights, weekends, or extended hours in order to meet production schedule requirements or provide support when required
  • Ability to travel to remote locations for training and onsite support as required
  • Must be able to meet OSHA rules for operating mobile equipment
