Job Description

Our client is currently seeking an HR Manager to join their team in Newark. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in HR and at least 7years of experience in human resources. This is a wonderful opportunity for individuals lookingto manage a diverse HR team and develop procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment process and implement effective strategies to attract top talent in the manufacturing sector.
  • Coordinate with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop workforce planning strategies.
  • Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
  • Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, evaluations, and improvement plans.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
  • Coordinate open enrollment processes, including communication and education for employees.
  • Address employee inquiries and issues related to benefits programs.
  • Ensure compliance with HR laws and regulations, including EEO, ADA, FMLA, and FLSA.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DEI principles into HR policies and practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of DEI initiatives and recommend improvements as needed.
  • Oversee environment, health, and safety initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct audits and inspections to identify and address safety hazards.
  • Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 7years of experience in human resources.
  • Experience in the automotive manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Robust knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
