A Brief Overview
This role will be responsible for verifying and reconciling financial data to support business decisions. This includes preparing reports for stakeholders , ensuring compliance standards and assisting with process improvement and development. This role will also assist with the financial close process.

What you will do

  • Responsible for verifying and reconciling financial data to support business decisions along with approval and coding of related invoices within their respective workstream. This includes preparing reports for stakeholders , ensuring compliance standards and assisting with process improvement and development. This role will also assist with the financial close process.

  • Prepares reports. Identify trends, investigate unusual items, and provide commentary for key drivers behind information. Identify leading and lagging KPI's and offer potential solutions based on results of data analysis.

  • Develop new reporting methods based on business needs. Maintain and publish daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to stakeholders.

  • Identify and assist in ad-hoc opportunities within the department - e.g. process improvements to relieve operational bottlenecks.

  • Assist with the monthly financial close process, which may include validating accuracy of journal entries, variance analysis commentary, and system reconciliations.

  • Partner with business function to provide information that assists in enhanced decision making ability.


What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance or business or equivalent Required

  • 3+ years of experience

  • Attention to detail/accuracy

  • Time management (setting priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment)

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong Excel skills
