What You Get to Do:
  • Staff Management Schedule the service engineers and administrative personnel to coordinate robot maintenance and new project activities for the installed base and for new robots being sold in any state of USACANADA. At the same time, the chosen candidate will do all activities related to human resources like bonus definition, goals setting, salary increases when applicable, promote collaboration in the welding team, etc.
  • Sales Lead the sales efforts to sell arc welding robots and arc welding robotic turnkey systems in USA CANADA. These sales will be achieved through personal efforts and integrators in USA CANADA.
  • New Business Development Continue developing new customers in the general and automotive industries and support system integrators to grow their business and consequently the Panasonic business in the metal fabrication segment.
  • Operations Control and manage the parts and equipment inventory and any other asset Panasonic Welding Business may have to properly operate in the business. The chosen candidate will be responsible to enforce that the whole team is compliant with the processes defined by PCONA.

MANAGEMENT employees, and other resources manage. Attach organization chart

  • Directly manage around 5 or 6 direct reports service and sales personnel, and Project Manager and collaborate with Panamex PCONA Mexico team in all welding activities.
  • Depending on the market conditions, reach annual budget of 10 20 MUSD.
  • The chosen candidate will report to the director of PCONA PA division.

PROBLEM SOLVING complexity and research, analysis, and creativity required

  • Can use data to identify trends in the market. Uses that data to provide clear analysis of needed changes in strategy.
  • Must be able to clearly identify business and technical problems and usually has sufficient experience to handle individually in the best interest of the customer and or company.
  • Understanding of how to define scope, responsibilities, and quote robotic products and systems.

KNOW HOW education experience other knowledge required

  • B.S. degree or capital equipment experience required.
  • 5 years experience in robotics, arc welding or capital equipment experience

COMMUNICATIONS key communications contacts and level of persuasion required

Strong presentation and strategy skills to lead marketing strategy discussions around the customer experience and prioritize investments and enhancements.
