A Brief Overview


The primary role of the Inventory Replenishment Analyst is to maintain agreed upon superior in stock position of finished goods inventory throughout the Safelite Group distribution network. This role will place replenishment orders with suppliers and maintain accurate open order files. The Inventory Replenishment Analyst will use multiple sources of inventory analytics to make recommendations to maintain appropriate stock levels and communicate any necessary actions. In addition, this role will be responsible for monitoring supplier level performance and providing insight to leadership and procurement. This role's responsibilities would be similar to that of a buyer or allocation analyst in other industries.

What you will do

  • Create purchase orders for finished goods inventory with established suppliers and maintain accurate open order files. Monitor open purchase orders and determine any necessary expediting to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
  • Manage ERP systems to ensure appropriate lead time, order quantities and accurate purchasing information.
  • Reduce excess inventory and make recommendations to return or write off slow-moving/obsolete inventory
  • Evaluate DC and Warehouse stock levels to recommend transfers or additional inventory movements.
  • Partner with procurement to communicate supplier performance for SKU specific inventory levels, lead time performance and overall opportunities for supplier improvement.
  • Create and publish exception management reports, and take actions to improve deficiencies.
  • Proactively manage inventory levels to recommend actions to mitigate customer impact.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education Qualifications

  • High School Required

  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Experience Qualifications

  • 1-3 years Inventory planning experience Required

Skills and Abilities

  • Superior analytical skills (High proficiency)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (Medium proficiency)

  • APICS/ CPIM (Medium proficiency)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Power Point and Oracle (High proficiency)
