Location: Four Seasons Environmental, Inc. - NIOSH: Spokane, Washington

Salary: Negotiable based on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday - Hours TBD (must be on-site)

Job Overview:

The Lead General Maintenance Worker is responsible for the technical management of the local maintenance staff to ensure the NIOSH facility operates smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general maintenance tasks, along with experience in leadership and supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of general maintenance workers in completing daily tasks and addressing maintenance issues throughout the facility
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address maintenance needs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and structural repairs
  • Coordinate and prioritize maintenance tasks, ensuring efficient use of time and resources
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment and systems
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory management, and equipment maintenance schedules
  • Communicate regularly with facility management team to provide updates on maintenance activities and address any concerns or issues
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all employees
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in general maintenance, with strong understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
  • Prior experience in leadership or a supervisory role is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of occupational safety and health regulation preferred.
  • Must have, or be willing to obtain before hiring, MSHA 48 certification.
  • ISO Experience is a plus
