We are seeking a Manager, ERP Deployment & Implementation to lead implementation and cutover planning for a multi-year ERP and business transformation program. This role will initially be focused on the Day 2 KCO program to establish new ERP solutions using best practice COTS software packages which will enable the new KCO organization to stand up technology to operate independently from Baxter.

What You'll be doing
  • Establish the Deployment work-stream for the Day 2 Program, which will serve as a centralized or shared capability for all process towers, technologies, and business functions.
  • Collaborate with program leaders to understand environment/platform strategy, program plan (test cycles, go-lives), and align 'mock cutovers' & production deployments to support program needs.
  • Create a detailed cutover plan for turning up new systems and enable TSA exit from Baxter.
  • Develop contingency plans in case of unexpected issues during the cutover, ensuring that there are established procedures for rollback and recovery.
  • Define a release management strategy supporting production environment.
  • Identify potential risks and issues that could impact the cutover process and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Partner with existing technology organization to define post-Day 2 release management process, service/incident resolution process, and other IT operations.

  • Lead planning for deployments of go-live process for each phase of the program.
  • Provide leadership in matrix program organization to managers and experienced professional staff.
  • Develop working relationships at all levels of management. Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with leaders and managers across program.
  • Manage internal and external expectations.
  • Gain consensus that provide critical resources to the program team.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving ability that allows for timely resolution of system issues including but not limited to production outages.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or business.
  • 10 years of progressive IT leadership experience.
  • Previous large transformation ERP program experience
  • Experience with Cloud based ERP platforms like Oracle Fusion Cloud and/or SAP is a plus.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks and to ensure that the project aligns with the organization's overall strategy.
  • Experience with IT project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $144,000 - $198,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
